KNEE-NECKS® -
Endorsements
We just received this endorsement in an email, January 3, 2005
I bought my original knee-necks at the
international cycle show in Chicago many years ago when they were first
introduced, the ones that just cover from below the knee to the ankle. It was
the first time you went to that show. I love that they store flat in the topcase
of my K1200LT touring bike or flat under the seat of my TL1000 sportbiike. They
are warmer than a second pair of pants, stop the wind up my cuffs, and keep me
toasty right where I need it most. With age my leg circulation is not perfect on
long rides anymore, but when my legs are warm my feet don't get so cold.
Recently I moved from Chicago IL to Long Beach CA where I don't use
electrically-heated gear or bulky snowsuits as often, and packing a jacket liner
and my knee-necks works all seasons and all times of the day. It gets chilly at
the shore, in the hills, or in the desert at night, and those are the best
riding areas in CA! Just this last year I started wearing them on cooler winter
days while working on the house or yard outside, and I just might need to
purchase a second or third pair...that way I could offer them to my passengers
too. I did add more velcro to mine, and I see you've also made extensive changes
to the product over the years! I'm going to have to try the higher chaps now
too. Great product, and I just wanted you to know mine are still serving me well
after many years of heavy use, no fraying no holes, the edge binding is holding
up great.

Here is an endorsement from Steve M. in New Jersey:
(We used to call Wrap-Chaps® by the name "Jakes")
"... Just wanted to tell you
how much I like my new "Jakes." I've worn
them on a few rides. I wear them over my jeans and under my leather
chaps. They are easy to put on and if the temperature goes up they are
easy to take off. I don't even have to take off my chaps, just unzip the
side, pull off the Jakes, roll them up and put them easily in my trunk or
saddlebag. Thanks for your help and ingenuity to develop a product
I've been looking for for years. Keep up the good work."
P.S. Steve and his friends ride "polar bear runs" throughout the
winter in NEW JERSEY!
The following endorsement was just received
from a rider that
bought KNEE-NECKS® at the April 2001 Marcus Dairy Super
Sunday show. Vicky S. from New York writes:
"purchased a pair after seeing them at last su-per sunday at marcus dairy for
year 2000. best investment ever made. thank you for a great product.
reasonably priced too.
live to ride ride to live for life"
Robert R. of Virginia wrote:
"a terrific idea that makes so much sense for motorcycling...lightweight
material that provides excellent protection against wind at highway speeds.
Easily fit into a saddlebag and can be put on or taken off in seconds. What
a really neat product!"
Kyle M. of Pennsylvania sent this:
"On the Gold Wing I was getting cold air that went up my pant leg. I
bought the KNEE-NECKS in the hopes that they would stop this air
from being able to do that. They have performed real well for me and I
no longer have the cold air problem. I fully recommend them to the rider
and passenger."
From Colleen G. of
Colorado:
"I am writing to let you know that I
received a pair of KNEE-NECKS
from my Mom for Christmas last year and have found them to be
very useful with the Colorado snows. They are so easy to throw on
over a pair of boots without having to put on a full snow suit. I use
them to walk to the end of the driveway to get the morning paper. I
can get wood from the wood pile without bundling up. It's easy to
shovel snow without getting overheated from having too much
clothing on.
I have to admit, when I unwrapped them Christmas morning, I wasn't
sure they would be something that I would use; however, I have found
them to be an excellent gift item.
I would recommend these to anyone who has to give to someone who
spends time outdoors...Great
idea!"
